Prayer Service & How to Help

Friends of Matt & Molly,

In such devastating times as these, people want to help.  I know that many of you who love and have prayed for Matt & Molly over the course of the past two years are finding yourselves in the same disbelief that I am.  You want to help, but don't know what to do.  In our humanness, we want to do something, anything, to help alleviate the burden and stress that the Nagel's find themselves in again.

I wish there was more that I could offer you for ways in which you can help, but I don't have many answers other than the obvious one... prayer.  Please pray unceasingly for this sweet family.  And invite your friends and fellow prayer warriors to do the same.  We all know that prayer can and does change things.  So be vigilant in those prayers.

For those of you in the Kansas City area, there will be a prayer service for the Nagels TODAY at the Spencer Chapel on the KU Med Center campus from 4-5 pm.  The chapel is located right off Rainbow Blvd. with parking across the street (at various businesses).  If you cannot attend the prayer service in person, please use this hour in your own home or place of business to cry out to Jesus on Matt's behalf.

Per the Caring Bridge site, they anticipate this prayer service to be a daily gathering, so stay tuned for more information on that.

The other way you can help is through your financial support.  As you might imagine, the medical bills that the Nagel's will be facing will likely pale in comparison to those that threatened their financial stability during their fight to keep Waverley.  And so if you feel led to help ease their impending financial needs, please know that the PayPal account set up for them during their adoption journey is still active.  A button the right side of this blog will take you to a secure site in which you can make a financial donation that will go directly to Matt & Molly.  You can also click here.

Also, donations of gift cards for gas or food can be sent to:

Lastly, please leave comments for Matt & Molly here or on the Caring Bridge website.  I know Molly has expressed many times how encouraging and helpful the comments were to her when they were facing losing Waverley.  I'm sure they will be just as encouraging to her now.  And if an address becomes available in which to send cards to the family, I will post it here as well.

Stay tuned... an update on Matt's prognosis has been promised.

Thanks for helping in any way that you can!

Danielle
